Well hello there, it’s so nice to see you here! Let me introduce myself, I’m Melissa, your bubbly, fun, supportive coach/teacher/counselor/friend. I’m a wife to an amazing man, a momma to 3 beautiful babies, a brain tumor survivor and a blessed business owner from The Woodlands, Texas. I hold a professional certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) in Personal Training with additional certification/specializations in Corrective Exercise, Pilates Mat Science and Group Fitness Instruction. In addition, I am a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant through AFPA (American Fitness Professionals & Associates.) AFPA is nationally accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board.


My goal as your fitness coach and nutrition counselor is to provide the support, education/information and motivation you need to achieve your goals for a sustainable lifestyle. I am committed to helping my clients to develop a healthy relationship with food, themselves and to build strong capable bodies. I have been studying and working in the fitness /nutrition/wellness/health industry since 2004 and have an extensive background in rehabilitative exercise and mindful eating techniques.


Some fun facts about me:

*I’d rather steal your dessert than your boyfriend!

*I’m not sure how many problems I have because math is one of them.

*For the past 7 years I have been in recovery from a bad relationship with food…yes, I’m a recovering food-aholic.

*My favorite workout is Pilates (not to be confused with pie and lattes).

*I’m probably the most clumsy coordinated person you ever met…like I gracefully walk into walls. Seriously not exaggerating on this one.

*I’m the girl that thinks: Don’t worry if plan A fails; there are twenty-five other letters in the alphabet.

*I apologize for anything I post while hungry…it never turns out good for anyone.

*I’m notorious for telling corny jokes and am the first person to laugh at them.

*I’m the slowest typer E.V.E.R! This message literally took me the better half of 30 minutes to type OUT.

*One of my favorite things in life is making others smile and helping them to be more confident in their own skin.

*I’m all about the fun and believe laughter can cure.

*Favorite food...ALL!

*I just love meeting people and making new friends!
